Poomkudy Foundation is a registered Charitable Trust founded by Zacharias Poomkudy with the slogan ‘EDUCATE A CHILD AND SAVE A FAMILY’ with the abundant resources and talents bestowed by God. A part of the profit of Poomkudy Group companies is donated to the Trust every year. In addition, valuable contributions, big and small from our employees are the major source of fund.
The Trust focuses on education of the underprivileged children on skill development to find a way of life and thereby save the family. Hundreds of children are availing the financial aid for education and placement. In addition, the Trust is providing financial support to the destitute to meet their urgent needs –operations in a Hospital, Marriages and Housing. The trust is planning to establish Centres/Institutes of Excellence with high values and patriotism to educate and mould the deprived children/youth by providing technical/skill oriented formation to make them fit for successful life
